On May 9, 2026, VA Shoreline Events had the honor of being part of something truly special — the 2nd Annual Americans for Prosperity Tidewater Freedom Festival at Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach.

Celebrating America 250 and our nation's freedom, this community event drew families, veterans, local businesses, and neighbors from all across Hampton Roads for a full day of live music, food trucks, inflatables, and patriotic fun — completely free to the public.

The Photo Booth Was a Hit

We partnered with AFP Tidewater to bring a photo booth on-site, and the turnout was incredible. From Uncle Sam look-alikes to whole families squeezing into the frame together, the booth was buzzing all day long.

Guests young and old lined up to grab props and strike a pose — couples, big family groups, and military personnel in uniform. The patriotic overlay on every print was a perfect match for the America 250 theme, and guests walked away with a tangible memory of the day.

Events like this are exactly why we love what we do. When a community comes together to celebrate something bigger than any one of us, the photo booth becomes the place where those moments get captured and held forever.

A Day of Celebration & Community

The festival ran from 11 AM to 6 PM and delivered on every front. The stage agenda kicked off with a recorded Bugle Call and the Posting of Colors, followed by a National Anthem performance by Ester DeBord.

From there, the day was filled with live performances by Almost Famous Band and Moose Line Dancers, a touching Tribute to Veterans, and a Special Guest appearance — closing out with Retire Flags and Reveille at 5:50 PM.
